I got this unit for light karaoke use at DJ gigs. We used it 4 times, rack mounted and babying it always. Never exposed to smoke.

It then died on us in the MIDDLE OF A GIG, the cardinal sin for any piece of gear. It simply refused to load the disc. It would freeze halfway in/out of the player. After giggling the tray, it would finally accept the disc. It never loaded another bit of data as everything came up "no disc" after that.

Worthless. And the v2go warranty process sucks. You get to be charged for another unit until you return the broken one and then get refunded. How bout I send you the broken gear, and on receipt, you send me one that works v2go? Simple.

No more v2go products ever. Stay far away......
